  2. Hi Sita. I'm trying to get in touch with you but can't find an email address. Your name was given to me by Candy Gourlay for some research I'm doing on children's publishing and diversity. Could you drop me an email at Laura [at] lauraatkins [dot] com? You can also see more about me on my website: www.lauraatkins.com

  5. Hi Sita, you came and visited my school on World Book Day and I asked you some questions. I didn't get to ask them all however. Here are some more: Why did you incorporate the theme of death in your book; was it based on past experiences? As a female author, do you still think there is a place in today's society for a women's only literature prize (e.g. Orange prize)?
Thanks for coming to our school, you were very inspiring. I hear that Artichoke hearts is in the Carnegie long list; many congratulations!
I am looking forward to reading Jasmine Skies especially as it is set in a place which I can relate to.
